Dr Sarya Saks

Dr Sarya Saks is a comprehensive ophthalmologist practising general ophthalmology, including cataract, glaucoma and medical retina. He completed his medical degree at the University of Pretoria and then obtained fellowships in ophthalmology from Colleges in South Africa and the United Kingdom.

He obtained his Fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists after completing his registrar time at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. ​ Dr Saks has undertaken numerous volunteer “Sight Saver Tours” to assist in supplying eye care and ocular surgery to the underprivileged in Africa. He has gained experience working in ophthalmology at the Cambridge University Hospital, Addenbrookes, in the United Kingdom and completed a Aviation Medicine course.
